Medstar Group has been in the plastic manufacturing field since 1976. Guided by their educational backgrounds both as engineers along with the specialized experience gained over the years; Medstar chairman; Mr. Moussa (chemical engineer) and Mr. M.Farag (mechanical engineer) were able to make Medstar one of the leaders in the plastic manufacturing world in the middle east.

Medstar Group has 3 grand factories that operates several product lines; house ware, catering, kitchen and storage products.

The first factory "Medstar Al-Watanyia" produced only house ware products. Its total area was 1000 meter square. On 1988, according to the increasing demand on Medstar products and the desire to introduce a new product line, which was catering at that time, Medstar Industrial co. was inaugurated in the 10^th of Ramadan city with total area of 6000 meter square.

Over the years, Medstar had successfully made a head way on the international scene along with the national one of course. In the year 2002, Medstar-Misr factory was inaugurated also in the 10^th of Ramadan city but with a huge area of 17000 meter square. Now, Medstar group has a total production area of 10000-meter square equipped with the industry's most advanced machines. Medstar warehouses are of total area 15000 meter square.
